My path toward becoming a therapist began through my own lived experience with trauma and neurodivergence. Growing up, I spent a lot of time trying to understand myself, my experiences, and why I felt so different at times. At the center of it all was a deep desire to feel seen, understood, and accepted.
What began as a personal search for understanding slowly grew into a deeper calling - to support others in their own journeys of healing, meaning-making, and self-acceptance. I wanted to become the kind of safe, grounded presence that I once needed.
Through my studies in psychology, I became increasingly curious about human behavior - why we think, feel, and respond the way we do, and how early experiences shape our emotional worlds. I learned how important it can be to gently revisit our past, not to stay stuck there, but to better understand ourselves in the present.
In graduate school, I deepened my clinical training and learned how to support others in developing self-understanding, self-compassion, and emotional clarity in ways that feel supportive and sustainable.
My experiences in a Christian private school also led me to reflect deeply on identity, belief systems, and belonging. This has shaped my interest in supporting individuals navigating religious trauma and the impact it can have on our relationship with ourselves and others.
Through all of this, I’ve come to hold two core truths: healing begins within us, and it is not something we are meant to do alone.
This perspective naturally informs my work with individuals navigating trauma, neurodivergence, identity development, and religious or spiritual exploration.
I believe healing happens through greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and connection to what feels meaningful.
My role isn’t to tell you who you should be, but to support you in exploring what feels true for you and moving toward a life that feels more aligned and authentic.
I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to show up as your full self.
